Capital expenditure คือ ค่าใช้จ่ายด้านการลงทุน ของแต่ละบริษัท ซึ่งการที่แต่ละบริษัทต้องลงทุนเพิ่มนั้น เพื่อต้องการประสิทธิที่ดีของการทำกำไรและรายได้

ส่วนใหญ่ที่จะเห็นได้จะเป็นโครงการต่างๆ ซึ่งถ้ามี ค่าใช้จ่ายด้านการลงทุน Capital expenditure CAPEX นั้น ก็พอมั่นใจได้ว่าบริษัทนี้ยังมีการเติบโตแน่นอน

Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

เรื่องของการทำ Material Requirements Planning (MRP) หรือการวางแผนวัตถุดิบ ไม่ว่าใช้ในด้านการขาย การผลิตสินค้า นั้นเป็นสิ่งสำคัญของธุรกิจหลายประเภทไม่ว่าจะซื้อมาขายไป หรือว่า เป็นพวกผลิตเพื่อขาย

เพื่อให้เห็นภาพในการทำธุรกิจ พวกสินค้าคงคลังนั้น ต้องมีน้อยที่สุด แต่ต้องมีมีน้อยที่สุดเท่ากับเพื่อให้ผลิต หรือ เพื่อขายเท่านั้น  เพราะการจัดการ สินค้าคงคลังถือเป็นต้นทุน การซื้อสินค้าก็มีต้นทุน เพื่อทำให้ต้นทุนเหมาะสมที่สุดกับการผลิต ต้องมี Material Requirements Planning (MRP) หรือการวางแผนวัตถุดิบ เพื่อจัดการต้นทุนที่ดี

แต่ถ้าสินค้าคงคลังไม่มีเลย ก็เป็นปัญหาอีก เพราะไม่สามารถผลิตได้และทำให้ต้นทุนการผลิตสูงขึ้น ทั้งด้านเวลา และ ต้นทุนเงิน ทำให้มีแนวคิดเรื่องการวางแผนจัดการกับวัตถุดิบขึ้น จึงมีการสร้างแนวคิดของ Material Requirements Planning (MRP) เพื่อจัดการวางแผนวัตถุดิบ

ซึ่่งถ้าเราทำการวางแผนได้ ก็จะทำให้สินค้าคงคลังและคลังสินค้า ไม่ต้องการเป็นต้นทุน

โดย MRP นั้น เป็นระบบที่ใช้ในอุตสาหกรรม
